Baseball Utility Travel

Our Story

Adam Rosales, current Utility player for the Oaklnad A's and Brad Mumma, a retired professional baseball player have been united through this beautiful game of baseball. While a junior at Western Michigan University Brad met Adam as an incoming Freshman. Brad, an established starting pitcher for WMU took an entire Freshman class under his wing living with them in the dorms. After two great years of playing together Brad pursued his professional dreams after being drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays.

Adam continued his development in college and was eventually drafter by the Cincinnati Reds. Roommates in college now became opponents in the minor leagues as they squared off in the Florida State League a year later. Fate would have it that they would be reunited in the Puerto Rican Winter League for the Lobos de Arecibo, and a few years later they would had come full circle. After Brad's long playing career ended he began training youth, college and pro baseball players helping them fulfill the same dreams he had. Adam continued his success in the Major Leagues for nearly a decade.

Baseballutility.com was born as Adam wanted to get into the training side and it is a wonderful resource for all of our players, an online training aid from an actual Major League baseball player. When Brad wanted to start a travel organization it was a no-brainer to use the Baseball Utility name and Adam as a sponsor as he is the definition of what a utilty baseball player is.
